The process

How an engagement runs

The seasonal-income financial planning process at Mentis Grove Seasonal Finance — scoping call, mapping session, plan, and seasonal review.

A seasonal-income engagement is built around the calendar, not a fixed meeting cadence. These are the steps, in order, from first contact to the review that closes the cycle.

1 · Scoping call

A short, no-fee conversation by phone or video. You tell us roughly how your income arrives — which months pay, which months do not — and what you want a plan to solve. We tell you honestly whether that fits our work. No commitment either way.

2 · Cycle mapping session

If we proceed, the first paid session maps your year. We plot twelve months of income against twelve months of costs and mark the gap months. You leave with a one-page cash-flow map and the reserve number — the months the household has to cover when the season is out.

3 · The plan

For the full annual engagement, we turn the map into decisions: the reserve target, what each peak-month baht is for, when tax points fall, and the date the plan gets reviewed. The plan is written, not just discussed, so you can hold it against the year as it unfolds.

4 · Seasonal review

The plan is checked again against the next cycle, not filed away. A late harvest, a shorter high season, a changed fixed cost — any of these can move the reserve or the allocation. The review is the step that keeps a seasonal plan seasonal.

A note on what we will not do

We do not hold your money, sell funds, or take a fee from any third party in return for a recommendation. If a decision needs a regulated provider — a licensed investment adviser, an accountant for filing, a bank for the reserve account — we point you to the kind of provider you need and stop there. The planning stays on our side of that line.
